Just before Christmas 2020, Piranha Bar were tasked with creating the Christmas campaign for LIDL in the Irish market. It's success in 2020 has seen it rolled out one more time in 2021 and even a plush toy version of Head Elf made available in store by popular demand from the younger viewers! This was a really fun spot to work on, you can see the love the team has put into all the little details which take up every inch of screen real estate throughout.
My main contributions to this campaign were the build and texturing of many of the vehicles and the large area dubbed the "Favorina" aisle which we see the elves setting puddings on fire and cracking some biscuits in half amongst other hi-jinks.I was also responsible for the transformation of the Favorina aisle back into its real counterpart towards the end of the spot as the elves scurry away Toy Story style as the work day begins.
